March 20th
Fished some nearshore rocks today. Good Sheepshead fishing. Kept 12 of 25 or so. Four fish were over 6 lbs.

March 18th nearshore
Fished some nearshore rocks today with fiddler crabs. Kept 8 of 30 seabass and 8 of about 25 sheepshead. One sheepshead was about 8 pds. Also caught 2 gag grouper, one was 24".
March 17th
Poor conditions led to some poor fishing today. Tried out a used Maverick skiff today and Im glad I did.
It was not what I am looking for. We fished for about 3 hours before the rain. Got two bites and caught one fish.

march 16th
Had only two hours to fish today. My plan was to only look and scout, however, I found a very large school of active fish and could not resist fishing for them. Caught 12 and left them biting.
March 12th
Changing conditions and clouds made the fish harder to see today, however we did manage to catch 11. Starting to see alot more bait in the water now. Will not be much longer before a cast net is needed to catch mullets.
March 8th
Great fishing conditions today led to some great sight fishing in a bay. Saw as many as 6 schools of fish with up to 100 fish in a school. The water clarity was about five feet. Saw most fish eat our jigs. Tried to get a bite on top but they were not interested. Caught 12 ranging in size from 22-28"
March 6th
Fished today with one of my customers on a very nice Hells Bay boat. Fishing was very good. The water clarity was about four feet in most places. Caught 18 fish from 22 to 32".
March 5th
Looking at some great weather and conditions for the next four days. Fished was good today but the fish did not bite till very late in the trip. Caught nine fish in the 18- 25" range.

March 1st
We are still in a large tide cycle which is not great for fishing this time of year. However we did manage to catch 8. Two came from the Fly.
February 28th
Fished Edisto today. Big tide cycles have the water very muddy. Ran about two hours to find some clear water and when the tide stopped on low the fished showed. Caught 14, most on topwater. Fish ranged from 14-25".
February 27th
Good fishing today. Cloudy and some wind but the fish did cooperate. Caught 8 reds around 28". One real nice one around 37".
February 24th
Made a trip to Washington DC today with 45 other fisherman from Charleston to attend a rally supporting our right to Fish. We met up with 4-5000 other fisherman mostly from the east coast and gulf but some as far as Washington State and Alaska. It was a great turnout.
February 23rd
Great conditions today provided some excellent fishing. The low wind and warm temperatures have really been working in our favor for fishing. Around 1:00 the fog covered us up with visibility as low as 30 ft at times. Made it back safely but not before we caught over 25 fish, some on topwater.

February 21st
These conditions have gotten better each day and the fish have responded well. Found a school of fish ranging in size from 28- 36" and they were hungry. Caught 22 in about 2 hours. We left the fish biting for another day.
February 20th
Great conditions again today. Fished the same places and more from yesterday with good fishing. Caught 16 fish between 23 and 32"
February 19th
We had some great conditions for fishing today. Clear water, low wind and getting warmer. Found two new schools of fish today and had good luck with them. Caught 17 fish between 23 and 30".

February 14th
Good conditions today. Good fishing with 6 redfish around 23". Saw lots of fish; however most did not bite. Here are some pictures of the snow Friday night.

February 8th
Low tide cycles, light wind and sunshine. The water is semi clear with better water on the flats. Caught 7 in the waterway on bait and 8 in a bay on jigs. The fish ranged in size from 12" to 33".
February 4th
Light winds and sunshine led to some good fishing today. Caught 6 on a spinnerbait 5 on a jig and 6 on bait.

February 1st
Had Barry Wilson on the Boat today for the second time this year. We are in a big tide cycle now with -1 to +6 foot tides. Water was not clear but the fish were mudding pretty good. Caught 8 decent reds, largest about 32 inches.
January27th
Went out to the front side of Cape Romain to fish the beach on an incoming tide. I didn't feel very confident in surf fishing this time of year, but we had some good conditions for it. Fished on the beach for about 4 hours with no bites. Came back in around high tide and caught 4 in the grass in about 30 minutes.
January 24th
Got started early due to the rainy forecast. Fished for about three hours before the rain started. Decent morning with 5 Reds.

Had Brent Crenshaw on the boat today for the second time this year. Got a couple of bites on topwater and spoons this morning, but could not hold on to them. Caught 2 first thing on bait and no more. Going again in the Am.

January 22cnd
Took ride toward McClelanville this morning, saw some fish in the waterway. Went all the way around Cape Romain to look at the surf. Found some great Surf fishing spots. Cant wait till spring for some surf fishing. Overall the water was much dirtier to the north then we have been seeing. Came back across the bay and found a new school of reds around the high tide. Going fishing tomorrow, will see if they will bite.

January 19th
Took Captain Legare Smith of the Artemis fishing today. Water was fairly clear however, the fish were hard to see. We have had a few days of warmer weather and the fish may have separated from the large schools. Fishing was good with 7 large fish between 32-38". Pictures will be posted soon of these waterway monsters.

January 15th
Today was the first day in three weeks the temperatures have come out of the forties. Had Mathew and Jake Flemming on board today for their 2cnd trip of the year. Very little wind and very clear water led to some great fishing. Caught over 30 fish in the 20- 30" range.
We did anchor up off of the surf first thing this morning and caught one. Most of our fish came from one school.
January 11th
Had Barry Wilson on the Boat today. Fist time redfishing since our surf fishing trip this Past September. The Sight fishing was Great today. Saw over 1200 fish in 20 schools or better. The fish were very lethargic and we only caught 7. Next trip is Friday.
January 9th
Had Brent Crenshaw on the boat today from Colombia. Its a little warmer today, water was very clear and we had little wind. Fishing was very good. Caught over 20 fish in the 23-29" range.
January 8th
Been in the teens the last 7 nights here in the low country. The water has really cleared up and visibility has been great when the wind is not blowing to much. The fish are biting some but are very lethargic. Caught 7 nice reds

The water is still not clear enough to see the large schools that we anticipate this time of year. Had Ryan Ball on the boat today from Raleigh. Only 1 fish today about 27" Long
December 27th
Getting Colder every day, The water has been very muddy with the wind. Should clear up soon with this cold that we are expecting. Caught 4 fish in 25 knots of wind.
